Do deadlines make you nervous? Just register for the Pledge Package, pay a nominal registration fee, and commit to fundraising the rest. Pledgers enjoy the perks of exclusive merchandise, invitation to the kick-off party at the St. Julien, and the good karma that comes from supporting higher education!
You spoke and the BBC listened. The 2016 ride is proud to "officially" introduce the EPIC 75. Enjoy the challenge and beauty of Boulder Canyon without the Carter Lake climb! This abbreviated version of the 110 mile Buff Epic takes you up Boulder Canyon, across Peak to Peak Highway, down through Lyons to our beloved Hygiene Aid Station. From there it's an easy 15 miles back to Benson Field where a cold beer and delicious lunch awaits you.
And for our runners and walkers, the 2016 Buffalo Run will offer a 10K route in addition to its 5K campus run. Better yet, you can use your Buff Run as a qualifying time for the 2017 BolderBOULDER!

What began in 1933 as a simple home and auto insurance agency has grown to include a team of experts specializing in Commercial Insurance, Bonding, Employee Benefits, and Workers' Compensation.
Mike and Elizabeth Taggart were two of just 300 riders that rode in the first classic in 2003. Since then, Taggart Insurance has continued to be a generous sponsor of the Buffalo Bicycle Classic and its scholars. It's thanks to sponsors like Taggart Insurance that the BBC has grown to over 2,500 riders, raising over 3 million scholarship dollars since 2003!
The hardest part about the Buffalo Bicycle Classic may be overcoming the inertia of registering. The hard part need not be the ride. If you haven't spent enough time on your bike, we offer you the leisurely Little Buff route through Marshall and Cherryvale with two charming aid stations. For those who have been putting in the miles, however, we do offer the pain of a brief segment of 13-percent grade up westbound Boulder Canyon, followed by the thrilling descent down St. Vrain Canyon into Lyons. And there are another four routes for those with intermediate motivation.
Why participate? Because you will help to retain and educate some of Colorado's brightest young students. Every rider is a philanthropist, and together they have raised more than $2 million and supported more than 360 students. Be part of that effort! Meet our scholars after the ride. Be sure to consider the pledge package: Pay only $35 up front and get the great-looking jersey, socks, timing chip and a pint glass to enjoy that cool beverage after the ride.
What if you're no longer cycling or have family or friends who are walkers or runners? Sign up for the Buffalo Run 5K and enjoy the mix of runners and cyclists at the post-event party. Enjoy the same music, food, beverage and festivities for which the BBC has become known. The 5K is an excitingcourse through the beautiful Boulder campus, including through some areas you have likely never seen!

The Buff Bike Classic isn't just for cyclists anymore. We are pleased to introduce the new BUFFALO RUN. Invite your non-cycling friends and family to enjoy the day and meet you at the after-party! This family fun 5K will stampede through CU-Boulder's beautiful campus, ending at the post ride/run party, with a delicious lunch, cold beer, prizes and live music. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday! This event is open to runners, walkers, skippers and strollers.

So chose from two centuries, the 70-mile Carter Lake climb, or the 50-, 35-, or 14-mile routes; no matter what challenge you're up for, we have a course for you!
Register now, and tell your friends and family! They can also use the coupon code this week. The price of basic registration will increase as the ride approaches, so don't wait! Be an even greater philanthropist and consider the Pledge Package, for which you pay only $35 upfront and pledge to raise $215 (or more!) by setting up your own fundraising page. Flood damage is still being repaired in South St. Vrain Canyon but we feel confident the road will be in good condition come September. As an alternative, any rider who registers for the Epic will have the option to ride the Foothill Century should the Epic route not be approved by ride day. We are proud to again feature a Carter Lake Climb 70-mile route; a Half Century 50-mile route; a 35-mile route; and a Little Buff 14-mile route.
More than 2,100 of you rode distances ranging from 14 to 110 miles. Along the way, scores of volunteers strove to keep you comfortable, on course and safe. Behind it all, our generous sponsors helped ensure that the dollars you spent on registration and raised in donations go directly to scholarships for high-performing students who qualify for financial aid.
